  2. What is OneClick Lite?
  3. ----------------------------

OneClick Lite! is a black-and-white-only version of OneClick!  OneClick! Lite is designed for black and white Macs, or color Mac users who are willing to trade color in exchange for speed and reduced memory needs.  Palettes created with OneClick! Lite are completely compatible with the OneClick! v 1.1 and vise-versa.

OneClick! is a System 7 dependent application that puts all of your favorite and most used applications, desk accessories, and documents at your fingertips.  Arrange groups of these files into user configured icon palettes that make sense in your daily work.  Click on the palette tile that contains the item's icon and that item will launch- automatically.

  8. OneClick! is easy to set up and use.  Just follow the simple directions that are available in the balloon help menu.

  10. OneClick! has an attractive user interface designed by a professional graphic designer.  OneClick! performs beautifully in black and white as well as full color.  OneClick! is an application so there is no problems with conflicts that might occur with other startup items.

  14. OneClick! version 1.1 includes several changes and bug fixes:
  15. • A major memory bug that surfaced in version 1.0 has been corrected.   OneClick! should now perform correctly on all Macs.
  16. • OneClick! can now open several palettes depending on the amount of memory allocated for OneClick!
  17. • OneClick! can now locate files that have been moved, renamed, restored from backup, located on remote AppleShare volumes, on ejected floppy disks, etc.
  18. • OneClick! provides a handy built-in notepad called "Sticky Notes" for jotting down bits of information.
  19. • OneClick! provides several different styles of palette tiles for color Mac users.
  20. • OneClick! now incorporates an auto-save feature which automatically saves palette information.
  21. • OneClick! also incorporates improved palette sizing features.

  31. AppleEvents Support - Documents assigned to the palette will be opened directly from the palette only if the document's application supports Apple Events, otherwise the application will launch but only open its standard untitled window.
